Ontonagon County Arrest Record Flow
The local trail has four steps: Sheriff or other arresting agency › County jail booking › Prosecutor and court filing › CJIC history update when reportable. Intake records identity and property, checks holds, takes a photograph and fingerprints, and enters the arrest charges. A judicial officer then addresses arraignment and bond. An arrest shows that an agency took a person into custody or asserted probable cause. A conviction requires a guilty plea or verdict and a court judgment.
